  • First Public Demonstration of OCC9010 "Mega Conan"
    March 9, 2004
    The latest product in the Conan family of media access controllers for multimedia networks, Mega Conan, was demonstrated today to a wide range of Tier-1 equipment suppliers at an OEM sponsored workshop in Europe. The first silicon samples of Mega Conan, operating at 25Mbps, were shown transporting high-speed video data across a low-cost UTP electrical link using video CODEC technology from Analog Devices. Silicon samples are available for customer evaluation now and C&CE is taking orders for evaluation kits.

  • C&CE Delivers Breakthrough Digital Audio/Video Infotainment Concept Car

    Communication & Control Electronics (C&CE) today announced that it had completed the development and delivery of an 11-node digital audio/video passenger entertainment concept (VPEC) vehicle to a major European OEM. The VPEC concept vehicle was delivered to a major European OEM, demonstrating the world’s first UTP digital video solution using low-cost SMARTwireX electrical networking.
