D2B users are now able to validate their own device ensuring it meets
the required D2B standard. The DV kit, which uses the Cayuga development
tool and Network Analyser, includes VB scripts and hardware to test the
activity of the network under certain conditions. The VB script controls
27 tests including, start-up and shutdown procedures, standard fault
procedure logs, high level retry, loss of lock and status reporting
procedures.
A System Validation Kit will be available in October to complement the
DV Kit. Both kits will be available to order from the web-site in
October.
